Welcome to the Tobermory United Church
We warmly welcome all who wish to enter and become part of our community of faith
regardless of their age, background and lifestyle. Newcomers will be valued for the wealth
of ideas they bring from their varied experiences.

Hello folks, in conversation with our Chair of Council Lori Johnston... we are sorry for all of the confusion, but considering this most recent news release (see link) issued by Grey-Bruce Public Health regarding a “modified” Step 3 because of the Delta Variant in our particular area, we are taking this seriously.
  • Only come if you are feeling well.
  • We are asking that masks be worn during the service.
  • Please keep visiting to outside only.
  • Sanitize when you arrive.
  • And although we won’t limit numbers, please adhere to the 2 meter distance according to how the seats are marked.
  • We will refrain from printed bulletins and leave the singing to the soloist.
On behalf of Tobermory United, Church Council...
We are committed to doing our part, to ensure that our entire community and guests stay staff and we pray for the wellness and safety of all as we work together to put a cap on covid.

Come as you are, come when you can...
come casual or dressed up!

We welcome the seekers, the dreamers,
the questioners – those who are wanting
to revisit their faith.

We welcome those who like being here
for special occasions and those who
want to be here all the time.

...there is room for all!

Church is back... What to expect
  • There is no specific limit to a gathering
  • We will continue with COVID protocols
  • Pews will remain blocked off so we only use every other pew
  • Keep a 2 meter distance
  • Masks must be worn; when entering and exiting the church and when moving around in the church.
  • Masks may be removed while in your pew.
  • Hand washing and other measures will continue
  • Please keep your socializing/visits with others for outdoors/outside of the church.
  • No need to call ahead, however we will still keep a log of those who attend for tracking purposes.
